LOS ANGELES -The Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico will open the 54th Caribbean World Series that will be carried live and exclusively on Fox Sports en Espanol beginning Sunday, February 2, 2003 at 3:00 p.m. ET. The second game of the seven-day series follows at 7:00 p.m. ET featuring 2002 Caribbean World Series champion Mexico, and the second of two Puerto Rican teams. Venezuela will be absent from this year's series due to the current social and political situation in that country.
